◆ Symposium streaming · pilot in design
Drop your Zoom. We'll stream your symposium.
Connect your university's own Zoom once. NTLSN then runs the registration, the live watch-page, and the replay — on your event's NTLSN page. Built so IT and academics can do it without learning a new platform. Your Zoom, your account, your data; we just make it effortless to share.
ORCID confirms you're a real researcher (free, no NTLSN account). Connecting Zoom needs your Zoom admin — one consent for the whole institution.
1
Connect Zoom (admin, once)
Your Zoom admin approves NTLSN against your institution's own Zoom — a single account-wide consent on Zoom's official OAuth screen.
2
Sign in & add your event
An academic signs in with ORCID and points NTLSN at the symposium meeting or webinar. No re-keying details.
3
We register & stream it
Attendees register on your NTLSN page; we push them into your Zoom and embed the live session. Afterwards, the recording becomes the replay.

What it does pilot
- One connection, your account. Uses your university's own Zoom via Zoom's official user-managed OAuth — NTLSN never owns your meetings or data.
- Registration on your page. A registration form on NTLSN pushes attendees straight into your Zoom (each gets their unique join link).
- Watch on NTLSN. The live symposium embeds on your event page via Zoom's Meeting SDK — attendees never leave the commons.
- Automatic replay. When Zoom finishes the cloud recording, the replay link publishes itself to the event page.
- Sign in with ORCID. Researcher identity, free and standard — no new password.
Honest status — what's real today
- Built & live: the interface, the Sign-in-with-ORCID flow, and the serverless backend stubs (Zoom OAuth connect, webhook verifier, Meeting-SDK signature) — on NTLSN's existing infrastructure.
- Rolling out with founding universities: live cross-institution connection needs a Zoom Marketplace app review (so other universities can authorize their Zoom) plus a secure token store. That's the pilot work, not a basic-research claim.
- Your IT keeps control: least-privilege scopes, account-wide admin consent, one-click disconnect (we delete your data), HMAC-verified webhooks. Nothing is hidden.
Want to be a founding pilot university? Tell us about your symposium and we'll set up the connection.
